  • Réussir sa vie, ça veut dire quoi ? Réussir sa vie, ça veut dire quoi ?
  • What does it mean to succeed in life?

    SERENITY.

We all seek to succeed in life in order to be happy, but do we really know what that means?

DO WHAT YOU WANT TO DO

dream of everyone. However, this does not mean having a life of leisure, sipping cocktails by a pool. Because that would quickly become a life devoid of meaning! And meaning is indeed what constitutes the very essence of a successful life... A successful life today, especially among the younger generation, is more about a work-life balance, very different from that of their elders. For the latter, making sacrifices was the norm until the economic crisis left even those who had devoted themselves body and soul to their company on the sidelines. A shock that has marked the minds of young people born after the year 2000, and they especially do not want to reproduce it, at the risk of losing their lives while trying to earn a living (financially).

Professional fulfillment is no longer the sine qua non condition for succeeding in life. It is just one component among others: independence, freedom, inner peace... And especially well below the strong desire to live experiences. Young people prioritize their quality of life over their salary. And they do not hesitate to throw everything away to go recharge for a year far from everything. Financial security is no longer a model of success among young people. But also among young seniors, who are increasingly letting go of their 30-year jobs in which they no longer recognize themselves, despite the benefits acquired over time. So why not make this new reality your own, even at 40 or 50 years old? It is never too late to live the life you dream of and to fulfill yourself.

SUCCEEDING IN LIFE OR LIVING LIFE

One could indeed question the very principle of "succeeding in life," because should we succeed or live our life? Living our life, isn't that succeeding in life? A vast philosophical question... Living your life means making your own choices, independently of family pressure, traditional patterns, and what others will say, from which society has almost managed to free itself in recent decades, especially for women. Until recently, women did not have the opportunity to choose their life, at least their partner, but then everything was mapped out. And if they had a profession, it was to compensate for their husband's meager salary or because he was sick/dead/gone. Few women had the chance to make their own choices. So as for living their life, it did not occur to anyone: a problem of the wealthy or the idle... The skills assessment can help you become aware of your aspirations, your life goals, and your skills.

    COMBINING WORK AND PERSONAL LIFE

What if succeeding in life resonated with the alliance of your professional and personal life? Thus, in a constant race for success in all aspects of life, it seems relatively important to preserve oneself. Setting boundaries, sleeping and resting properly, or even encouraging family dialogue after a workday, are priceless elements that will allow you to create well-being for yourself. So what does it mean to succeed in life and in life? It is also about finding a balance!

And you? Do you think you have succeeded in your life or do you think you are in the process of succeeding? Let us know in the comments...
